Company History

The history of the Krause Monument Company is based on a tradition of designing high quality, distinctive monuments for families in Wisconsin, a tradition started over 100 years ago. This tradition was based on "main street" values of concern, compassion and sensitivity. Combine these values with the expertise that gives us the know-how to take finest granites, design and artfully shape it into a monument of beauty and enduring memories and you have the recipe for an outstanding company.

It is no surprise that over the years we have expanded to five locations. Our manufacturing facility in Viroqua, Wisconsin is state of the art where our dedicated staff takes great pride in the many compliments they receive from many of our satisfied customers.

We work hard to keep our staff trained and updated on any new information or technologies that become available. Our affiliations and size provide us with buying power leverage few companies can match which allow us to purchase the finest quality granites at the best prices available.
